Editor's verdict

Adscend Media is one of the longest-running offerwall providers, active since 2009 and owned by Edge226 since July 2025. For publishers with their own engaged users, it is a mature, well-documented route into rewarded monetization with a payment record it describes as unbroken.

The strongest points are the breadth of demand across games, fintech, D2C, surveys and video, the choice of webview, API and SDK integrations, and serious fraud tooling that protects advertiser budgets and therefore publisher payouts. Method minimums of $100 for PayPal, Payoneer and ACH are reachable for small apps.

The caveats are cash-flow timing and contract terms. Payments arrive 30, 45 or 60 days after month end, chargebacks can reach back into earlier cycles, and dormant accounts can lose their balance. App developers and rewards sites should apply; affiliates who buy traffic for CPA offers will find little here.

About Adscend Media

What Adscend Media is

Adscend Media is a rewarded-advertising company founded in 2009 by Fehzan Ali and Jeremy Bash. It started as a two-person content-locking platform and grew into an offerwall, survey and rewarded video business for publishers, with a self-serve user acquisition side for advertisers. It is based in New York, with a second office in Branford, Connecticut. In July 2025 Edge226, a performance marketing platform focused on in-app and CTV advertising, acquired the company, and Adscend keeps its own brand under CEO Megan Rafferty.

Adscend says more than 35,000 publishers have joined, it has paid out over $60 million across more than 2 billion rewarded transactions, and it has never missed a publisher payment. Its own reward sites, such as Lootup.me, reach about 7 million registered users, it says.

Offers and verticals

The core product is the offerwall, a rewarded unit placed inside an app, game or site where users earn the publisher’s virtual currency by completing advertiser offers. Categories include games, D2C brands, fintech, free trials, sign-ups, videos and surveys, with over 2,000 offers, 30 to 50 new ones added daily and global fill. Alongside the wall sit daily market research surveys, PixelPointTV rewarded video with more than 80,000 videos across desktop, mobile web and CTV, and content locking for downloads and links.

Commission models and payouts

Publishers earn a payout each time a user completes an offer, survey or video engagement. Advertisers buy on CPA, CPI and multi-event engagement terms, and the publisher payout for each offer shows in the dashboard. The publisher agreement sets payment timing by offer: usually 30, 45 or 60 days after month end, so cash can lag two to three months behind activity. Method minimums are $100 for ACH, PayPal and Payoneer and $300 for wire, some methods carry transfer fees, and payment must go to an account in the publisher’s registered country. A tax form and, where local law requires, an invoice are needed before payout.

Chargebacks can be applied at any time, including against earlier cycles, and Adscend is not obliged to pay for conversions an advertiser has not paid for. Accounts with no valid earnings for six straight months can be charged a dormant fee of up to the full balance. No publisher referral program is advertised.

Tracking, tools and platform

Adscend runs its own tracking and dashboard with real-time statistics. The offerwall goes live through a customizable webview or the Offer Wall API, with integration guides for Android, iOS, Web and Unity. Offers and Market Research APIs let larger publishers pull inventory into their own interfaces. Postbacks tell the publisher’s server when a user completes an offer so rewards can be credited, and the wall’s look can be matched to the publisher’s brand. Adscend handles user tickets for missing credits directly.

Traffic rules and compliance

Rewards are built into the model, but only inside the publisher’s own properties and only where offers allow incentives. The agreement bans spam and non-compliant email, pop-ups or pop-unders through other companies’ software, hidden ads or iframes, auto-refresh, bots and copied-content sites. Abnormally high conversion rates can be adjusted, and sub-publisher networks need written approval. On fraud, Adscend blocks known VPNs, proxies and bots, adds thousands of IPs to its blacklist daily, runs behavioral checks and can use facial recognition on doubtful users. Suspect accounts go inactive pending investigation and can forfeit unpaid earnings.

Support and getting started

The publisher application asks for contact details, preferred messenger (email, Teams, Slack or Telegram), the sites or apps to monetize, daily active users, top traffic countries, products of interest, go-live timing, traffic sources and fraud prevention measures. Every application is vetted manually, and an account manager responds within one to two business days. Approved publishers get a dedicated manager; general questions go through the contact form.

Who it suits

Adscend suits mobile game and app developers, get-paid-to and rewards sites, and survey communities with real daily users and a currency to hand out. Its payment record and Edge226 backing lower the counterparty risk. It is a poor fit for media buyers and SEO affiliates seeking CPA links, for new apps without users, and for publishers who need fast payouts, since 30 to 60 days after month end is standard.

How to join

  1. Start the publisher application

Publishers open Adscend's publisher application and enter name, email, phone, password, company and country.

  2. Describe properties and users

The form asks for the websites or apps, daily active users, top traffic countries and a preferred messenger: email, Teams, Slack or Telegram.

  3. Choose products and explain traffic

Applicants pick the offerwall, Offers API, Market Research API or rewarded video, estimate go-live timing, and describe traffic sources and fraud prevention measures.

  4. Manual review

Adscend vets each application, and an account manager responds within one to two business days.

  5. Integrate and set up payment

Approved publishers take their Publisher ID and API key from the dashboard, integrate by webview, API or SDK, set postbacks, and add tax and payment details.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns Adscend Media?

Edge226, a performance marketing platform focused on in-app and CTV advertising, acquired Adscend Media in July 2025. Adscend continues under its own brand and dashboard, with its main office in New York.

What is the Adscend Media minimum payout?

Minimums depend on the payment method: $100 for ACH, PayPal and Payoneer, and $300 for wire transfer. Balances below the minimum roll into the next payment cycle.

When does Adscend Media pay publishers?

Payment is usually made 30, 45 or 60 days after the end of the month, depending on each offer's terms. A completed tax form, valid address details and, where local law requires, an invoice are needed first.

Which payment methods does Adscend Media support?

ACH, PayPal, Payoneer and wire transfer, with availability depending on the publisher's country. Some methods carry transfer fees, and payments must go to an account in the country listed on the account.

How do publishers earn with Adscend Media?

Publishers earn each time a user completes an offer, survey or video engagement in their offerwall. Advertisers buy on CPA, CPI and multi-event terms, and the publisher payout for each offer is shown in the dashboard.

Does Adscend Media allow incentivized traffic?

Rewards are the whole model, but only inside the publisher's own app, game or site and only where offers permit incentives. Spam, pop-ups through other companies' software, hidden ads, bots and copied-content sites are banned.

How long does Adscend Media approval take?

An account manager typically responds within one to two business days. Every application is vetted manually, and Adscend says fewer than 5% of partner applications meet its standards, so detail on users and fraud controls matters.

Does Adscend Media support postbacks and APIs?

Yes. Postbacks credit users on the publisher's server when offers complete, and Adscend provides an Offer Wall API, Offers API and Market Research API alongside webview integration and guides for Android, iOS, Web and Unity.

Does Adscend Media have a referral program?

Adscend does not advertise a publisher referral program. Earnings come from the publisher's own placements.

How does Adscend Media handle missing user rewards?

Users open a ticket directly from the offerwall, or from the ticket icon next to the offer, and Adscend's team handles crediting issues. That keeps most reward disputes away from the publisher's own support desk.
