Information you give us. When you submit a listing, claim a listing, contact us, or subscribe to updates, we collect what you provide — typically a name, an email address, a company or website URL, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and tools record basic technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding aggregate traffic. Outbound click tracking stores only hashed technical data — never your raw IP address.
How we use information
- To operate the directory — reviewing and publishing listings, responding to submissions, corrections, and claims.
- To send updates you request, such as the monthly change digest, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To maintain and secure the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues.
- To understand aggregate usage so we can improve content and navigation.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes without telling you.

Security & children’s privacy
Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children. AFFDigest is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
