What Mobidea is

Mobidea is a mobile-first CPA network founded in 2011 by Antoine Moreau. It is run by Mobidea Technologies Limited, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus, with teams in Lisbon and Montreal and 113 staff. Mobidea says it has more than 200,000 registered affiliates, 800+ advertisers, 2,000+ active campaigns, coverage in over 200 countries and more than $500 million paid out. It is best known for helping popularize the mobile smartlink, which routes each visitor by device, GEO, carrier and intent.

Offers and verticals

The core is mVAS carrier billing, with dating, lead generation, nutra, VPN and app installs, auto insurance, CC submit and sweepstakes alongside. Mobidea claims 100+ exclusive offers. Affiliates can run the smartlink, which rotates offers per segment and pays dynamic payouts, or single offers with fixed payouts that need a separate application. Single offers are reviewed in one to two days and unlock after the first payout. A safety fallback sends traffic back to the smartlink if an approved offer is paused. Desktop traffic is accepted on part of the inventory.

Commission models and payouts

Mobidea pays per conversion, never per click or visit: a subscription, lead, sale or install. mVAS offers can be single opt-in, double opt-in, SMS or credit card flows. The minimum withdrawal is 50 EUR or 50 USD on the affiliate pages and FAQ, while the Publisher Program terms still state 125 EUR/USD and invoice payment within 30 days. That conflict is worth clearing with support before relying on small early cashouts.

In practice payments are weekly: requests made before the Monday midnight cutoff are paid on Wednesday, with up to two requests per calendar week. Bank transfers can take up to seven business days to process and around five more to land. Methods shown are bank transfer, PayPal, Paxum, Capitalist, Bitcoin, Litecoin and USDT on ERC20 or TRC20, in USD or EUR. Listed fees are 2% for PayPal, $1 for Paxum and 0.99 to 4 EUR for bank transfers. VIP affiliates, who generate 10,000 EUR or USD in revenue within 30 days, pay no fees, get twice-weekly payments, a dedicated expert, private offers and 2% cashback credited to a Mobidea Push account. The referral program pays 5% of referred publishers’ earnings for life.

Tracking, tools and platform

Mobidea includes a free built-in tracker with campaigns, rotations, lander and offer splits, filters and real-time stats. S2S postback works with external trackers such as Voluum, AdsBridge and ThriveTracker, and an API exposes offers and statistics. Affiliates add their own tracking domains, can use double meta refresh, and get webmaster tools: popunder and overlay codes, banners in iFrame or JavaScript, and redirect scripts for htaccess, PHP, WordPress and JavaScript. Mobidea does not host landing pages.

Traffic rules and compliance

Any legitimate traffic is accepted, including social, push and pop, but each single offer lists its own restrictions. The terms ban bots and automated actions, spyware, stealware, cookie stuffing and click fraud. An in-house fraud algorithm checks traffic daily, and Mobidea can delete actions, freeze unpaid commissions and claw back paid ones. KYC happens at the first payout: individuals upload an ID and proof of address, companies an incorporation certificate with a VAT or tax number. Accounts inactive for 150 days are blocked and deleted, with earnings history, 90 days later.

Signup is self-serve and takes minutes, and smartlink access is available straight away. The Affiliate Service answers by email at affiliate-service@mobidea.com on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00 (GMT+1) in English, Spanish and Portuguese, although the homepage advertises 24/7 support in more languages.

Who it suits

Mobidea fits mobile media buyers on pop, push, social and display who want a smartlink to monetize mixed GEOs, and newcomers who want instant access with a 50 EUR cashout. Buyers who need fixed payouts on every click or brand-safe mainstream offers will find the mVAS-heavy mix less suitable.
