Best Affiliate Programs for Beginners in 2026 (Low Payout Minimums, Fast Approval)

Heads up: some links here are affiliate links, so AFFDigest may earn a commission if you join through them. It costs you nothing. More in our affiliate disclosure.
Most “best affiliate program” lists are written for people who already have traffic. If you’re just starting, a 40% commission is worthless when the program rejects your application or won’t pay until you’ve earned $500.
So we picked these differently. We looked through the programs in our directory for three things: will they let a new site in, how little do you need before they pay, and are the terms published so you know what you’re signing up for. Commission rate came last.
Side by side
| Program | Commission | Minimum payout | Getting in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Associates | 1% to 10% by category | $10 | Application |
| Shopify | Up to $150 per referral | $10 | Usually within 24 hours |
| ClickBank | Set by seller, up to 90% | You set a threshold | Free account, no application |
| Crush Partners | 50% recurring | $25 | Instant |
| HubSpot | 30% recurring, up to a year | $10 | 2 to 3 business days |
| QuillBot | 10% to 20% per referral | $20 | Not stated |
| Geo Targetly | 20% recurring | $50 | Instant |
| Pikzels | 20% recurring | $50 | Automatic |
| eBay Partner Network | Percentage by category | Not published | Application |
9 affiliate programs that work for beginners
1. Amazon Associates
This is where most people start, and for a good reason: whatever your site is about, Amazon sells something you can link to. Rates run from 1% to 10% depending on the category, and anything not named in the Amazon fee table pays 4%. You get paid from $10. The downside is the clock. A click only counts for 24 hours.

2. Shopify Affiliate Program
Up to $150 when someone you refer signs up for a paid plan, and you can withdraw from $10. Applications usually get an answer within a day. Be honest with yourself about one thing: Shopify says openly that it doesn’t approve everyone, and it wants to see a real website with a real audience. The details are on the Shopify affiliates page.

3. ClickBank
Open a free account and you can promote any of 4,000-plus products straight away, no begging individual sellers for approval. Payments go out on Fridays. One thing trips up nearly every newcomer: you won’t see a cent until you’ve hit both your payment threshold and something ClickBank calls the customer distribution requirement. Read up on that before you start sending traffic.

4. Crush Partners
Instant approval, 50% recurring, $25 minimum payout, 60-day cookie. If your content is about marketing or AI tools, these are the friendliest terms on the page.

5. HubSpot Affiliate Program
30% recurring for up to a year, paid from just $10. What makes it beginner-friendly is the 180-day cookie. A new site gets a trickle of visitors, and six months is a long time for one of them to come back and buy. Expect to wait two or three business days for approval.

6. QuillBot Affiliate Program
10% to 20% per referral, topping out at $20 a subscriber, with a 30-day cookie and a $20 payout minimum. It’s a small commission. But students and writers already search for QuillBot by name, so it’s an easy product to explain.

7. Geo Targetly Affiliate Program
20% recurring and you’re approved instantly. Payouts start at $50 and go out monthly by PayPal or wire. It’s a niche tool, so it suits sites that talk to marketers and developers.

8. Pikzels Affiliate Program
20% recurring on every payment, automatic approval, $50 minimum. The reason it made the list is the payment options: PayPal, Payoneer, bank transfer and a few more. If you’re outside the US, that matters more than an extra 5%.

9. eBay Partner Network
You earn a percentage of each sale, with the rate set by category. It’s a natural fit if you write about deals, collectibles or second-hand gear. Like Amazon, the window is short: 24 hours for Buy It Now items, according to the eBay rate card page.

Two good programs to save for later
The Semrush Affiliate Program pays very well, but it asks for 1,000 unique monthly visitors or 1,000 organic followers before it’ll take you. The Hostinger Affiliate Program also wants traffic of at least 1,000, and then needs three approved sales plus $100 before it pays out by PayPal. Neither is out of reach. Just come back to them in a few months.
What to look at before you sign up
Start with the minimum payout. Ten dollars at Amazon, Shopify or HubSpot is something you can hit in your first month; $100 can take a new site half a year. Then check how approval works. Instant means you can start today, while manual review means you need some content up first. Look at the cookie too, because a 24-hour window only pays if your visitor was already about to buy. And read the promotion rules. Plenty of programs ban bidding on their brand name in Google Ads, and they do close accounts over it.
Quick answers
What is the easiest affiliate program to join?
From our directory, Crush Partners and Geo Targetly approve you instantly. ClickBank is also easy, since the account is free and you don’t apply product by product.
Can I join an affiliate program without a website?
Sometimes. Semrush accepts social accounts with 1,000 organic followers, and eBay has the eBay Ambassador program for social creators in the US and UK. Shopify prefers people with an active website.
Should I join a single program or a network?
Start with one program. It’s simpler, and you’ll learn faster. A network makes sense once you want lots of advertisers under one login. We compared the best affiliate networks on payout terms if you want to look ahead.
