About Otter.ai Affiliate Program
Otter.ai was founded in 2016 in Mountain View, California, by Sam Liang and Yun Fu, two computer science engineers specializing in artificial intelligence and speech processing. Originally launched under the name AISense, the company aimed to eliminate manual note-taking by leveraging deep machine learning algorithms to convert spoken conversations into searchable, actionable text in real time. As remote work and virtual meetings accelerated worldwide, Otter expanded rapidly, integrating deeply with platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Featuring automated AI meeting summaries through OtterPilot, the platform serves millions of students, journalists, sales teams, and enterprise professionals globally.
